Limited warranty - Terms & Conditions
What services will be provided:
If your laptop suffers a failure of any functional part we will carry out the repair at no cost to you up to a maximum of the original purchase price.
If your laptop cannot be repaired within 4 weeks of a claim being raised, we will provide to you a replacement laptop of equal or higher specification.
Your laptop will be collected by our carrier free of charge on a day agreed with you. There is no excess payable against claims raised.
Cancellation Policy:
You may cancel the plan within 14 days after you receive your plan documents and receive a full refund, unless you have made a claim.
Additional limitations:
Repair or replacement costs for:
- Damage caused by scratching, chipping or general wear and tear.
- Damage to additional free goods supplied.
- Damage caused by peripherals.
- Damage caused by viruses.
Services not included:
- Repair due to failure caused by; use other than intended; incorrect or faulty installation; accidental damage; any willful act or neglect; failure to comply with any maintenance instructions.
- Repair or replacement of:
- Any routine maintenance, adjustments or modifications.
- Consumer replaceable items (EG. batteries)
- Compensation for loss of use, or consequential loss caused directly or indirectly by the product including hard drive data and sofware.
- Malfunctions due to viruses or system conflicts due to the installation of drivers or peripherals.
- Repair due to failed pixels within the LCD screen, or damage to the screen as a result of inappropriate handling.
How to make a claim:
You will need to contact us via email at warranties@tradinghonestly.co.uk or by telephone on 08456 80 81 82 to have your claim authorised.
We will arrange for our carrier to collect the equipment from you. As you will need to adequately package the equipment, we suggest that you keep the original packaging. Please do not return items to us within authorisation.
Once the equipment has been repaired, it will be returned to you via our carrier.
Please note this is a warranty policy to guarantee the costs of repair against a hardware malfunction or failure as per the above terms and conditions. Accidental damage is not covered within this policy.
